NSW Seniors Week 2014

Grow, Cook & Eat Workshop

21 people from New South Wales attended our first Seniors Week workshop

 

 

They heard about the history of the Farm and how we make compost

 

 

 

 

 

They picked vegetables and herbs to make salads for lunch

They had a lesson in making zucchini fritters and tzaziki

And they had lunch made from ingredients harvested from the farm.

It's very good to see a community group at work. These groups should be supported and encouraged. I had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. FM
